Groton School Choir to sing Evensong at St. Paul’s Cathedral London

On Tuesday, March 12 at 5 p.m., the Groton School Choir, in the midst of 10-day tour of England and Scotland, will sing the Evensong service at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. Following the service, from 6-8 p.m., will be a reception and an opportunity to greet the members of the Choir in The Nelson Chamber, located in the Cathedral Crypt. During the spring break trip, the Choir also will visit Edinburgh and Glasgow in Scotland and Oxford and Cambridge in England. In Oxford, students will have a master class with Andrew Gant, organist and composer of the Chapel Royal, and will sing an Evensong service at Christchurch Cathedral. In Cambridge, famed choir director Stephen Cleobury of Kings College will lead a master class for Groton’s Choir.
